The juiciest part in my reading was what he wrote about status. He gives examples of how status legibility or illegibility can give story or dialogue more horsepower, and gives examples of how one can demonstrate status, claim status, or use status to change others' behavior (with some examples from the animal kingdom).
He also of course talks about how to perform improvisational theatre, and exercises one can use to develop and hone improvisation skills. And about the role of an educator (and how education damages creativity and talent in students).
